I'm a software engineer with experience designing and building full stack systems with a focus on the sciences. Most recently I worked at venture studio Moon Creative Lab as tech lead and eng manager for new ventures across teams in the US & Tokyo.
Previously I ran a software consultancy in San Francisco concentrating on problems in weather, climate, agriculture, and conservation. Prior to that, I worked at The Climate Corporation as a platform engineer, and at Google building software for sales teams.
I'm particularly interested in supporting teams to ship high quality production-grade software, and moving products from research & experimentation to complete user experiences.
I run a film production collective. We produce documentary shorts & fiction, and also do corporate work. We've won some awards for our work. Get in touch if you'd like to work on something together.
